Polices and answers to FAQs:

• The session fee pays for Shelley's time and talent only and does not include any portraits. The session fee also covers a pre-session phone planning consultation, post-production work such as archiving files, creating on-line galleries and slideshows, as well as minor retouching of images.

• A session fee is due at the time of your session booking. This assures you of your portrait reservation.  Session Fees begin at $150.00 for in-studio and $200.00 for on-location within a 25 mile radius.

• No Sunday or Monday sessions are available as the studio is closed.

• Please see the “Portrait Investment” section of the website for information on Watch Baby Grow packages & minimum investment requirements.

• Watch Baby Grow sessions are Tuesday through Thursday only. If a Saturday session is requested, a minimum order of $750.00 is required.

• Session fees that require travel to a destination more than 30 minutes from the studio are determined on an individual basis. Typical fees after 30 minutes of travel are $50.00 per additional 30 minutes.

• If a cancellation of your session should be necessary, the session fee is non-refundable; However, it may be applied toward a rescheduled session if done within 48 hours of your originally scheduled session date.

• There is an additional $20.00 charge per person for family or group sessions over five persons.

• Sessions may last 1 to 2 hours. Senior Portrait sessions may last up to 3 hours.

• Senior sessions are allowed up to three wardrobe changes.

• Newborn sessions are not rushed. These sessions may last up to 2 hours to provide breaks for feeding and comforting baby. Watch Baby Grow sessions are 45 minutes unless add-on services have been purchased.

• Just in case…come to your session with water, snacks for children, change of clothes for children, hairspray, and a comb or brush.

• Please reschedule if your child is sick.

• All sessions are scheduled by appointment only.

• Presentation of your portrait previews will be done via a slide show in the studio by appointment. Please be prepared to come to the studio for your preview appointment and to make your portrait selections. The only exception to this policy is for clients that are out of town and greater than 1 hour from the studio. If you have small children, it is recommended that you find care for your little ones if possible.

• Paper previews are not available.

• There is an 10 percent increase in pricing for portraits that are not ordered within 8 weeks of your original session date.

• All portrait orders must be paid in full at the time of your order. We do offer payment plans.

• Please allow 4-6 weeks for your order to be completed. Some orders may take longer. Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed. Frame orders can take up to 4 weeks due to manufacturing and shipping.

• All portraits 5x7 and larger will receive minor retouching at no additional cost. Extensive retouching or enhancing fees of portraits will be billed at $50.00 per hour.

• All color images can be converted to sepia at no additional charge.

• "Touch of Color" images are available but do require a one-time creation fee which can range from $25.00 to $75.00 depending upon the complexity of the particular image chosen.

• All images remain the property of Shelley Shroyer Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws; copying/scanning of any kind without permission is strictly prohibited.

• All orders are subject to local and state taxes as well as shipping and handling charges.

• Prices are subject to change. $25.00 Return check fee.

• Shelley Shroyer Photography has a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with your portraits for any reason, Shelley will take additional poses at no cost to you.
